Unfortunately, there is no status update to report, he is still a DEADBEAT DAD and has still not been located. In the mean time, my kids are suffering, I am suffering, and I can't afford back to school items for them. They are now 15 and 16; and my oldest will be looking for colleges to go to. Unfortunately, she will have to get as many student loans as possible, since she can't depend on her father to help with her tuition.

Why not just walk away, and figure out how to support yourself rather than be dependent on a man you obviously hate. This is a man who was abusive to your and your children yet you want him to remain in your life, tethered by a financial obligation.
Walk away. Call it a lesson learned. If he works "under the table" as you suggest it almost certainly means he can't afford to pay the support anyway. All your anger and efforts to find him do nothing but wreck your life.
Seriously, why not just walk away and be done with him? Do you really need the money that badly that you want to keep him in your life?
I can certainly understand this reader's point of view; and many of you may share the same. However, my question is, why should guys like this be allowed to get away with breaking the laws- both state and federal- I certainly don't want him in my or my children's lives anymore. I would be just as satisfied to see him spend a long time in jail and have to think about what he has done, and how he has hurt his kids the most. For this, I can never forgive him.
